Allianz PNB Life marks a decade of trust and impact, posts strong growth in first half of 2026

Allianz PNB Life (AZPNBL) celebrated its tenth anniversary with a media briefing themed “From Promise to Proof,” held to highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to securing the future of Filipino families. The event showcased how AZPNBL continues to deliver on its mission through business growth, customer trust, innovative financial solutions, and community-focused programs.

AZPNBL’s decade-long presence in the Philippines has earned the trust of countless families, reflected in its robust performance during the first half of 2026. According to the latest Insurance Commission data, AZPNBL ranked third in the Philippine life insurance industry for consolidated New Business Annual Premium Equivalent (NBAPE), posting Php4.59 billion—a 98% year-on-year increase.

The company’s strong bancassurance partnership with Philippine National Bank (PNB) fuels its expansion. Nearly 500 Financial Solutions Specialists now serve customers across more than 600 PNB branches nationwide, broadening AZPNBL’s reach and making life insurance and investment solutions more accessible.

“For 10 years, we have worked to earn the trust of Filipino families by helping protect what matters most to them,” said Joe Gross, President and CEO of AZPNBL. “Our strong first-half performance and continued customer growth are proof that our purpose continues to resonate. Growth is not just a business result. It means more Filipino families trust Allianz PNB Life to help secure what matters most.”

Looking forward, Gross said the company would continue enhancing customer experience, expanding its distribution channels, and developing simple, relevant, and affordable solutions to create long-term value for families.

A major proof point of this commitment is the launch of Allianz Secure Save, a flexible insurance and savings plan designed to help breadwinners achieve their most important life goals while ensuring loved ones are protected. The plan rewards long-term commitment, offers professional investment management, and includes easy premium payment options.

“Allianz Secure Save enables customers to grow their money while benefiting from life insurance protection. Should the insured pass away unexpectedly, the benefit helps loved ones continue pursuing their dreams,” Gross added.

AZPNBL’s impact goes beyond financial protection. The company’s sustainability agenda is rooted in building resilience for families and communities. Chief Marketing Officer Zanne Magararu emphasized, “Insurance and sustainability share the same goal: building resilience. Through our products and partnerships, we help families prepare financially and strengthen communities against broader risks.”

Flagship programs such as MoveNow—in partnership with Bahay Tuluyan—support young single mothers through training and financial literacy, while Project Talaghay with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation strengthens disaster preparedness in vulnerable communities.

The briefing featured sustainability partners Catherine Scerri of Bahay Tuluyan and Rene “Butch” Meily of PDRF, who discussed the shared-value approach to opportunity, preparedness, and collaboration.

As AZPNBL enters its second decade, it remains committed to turning its purpose into action, providing financial protection, promoting resilience, and helping Filipino families live more “Panatag”—secure and confident, today and in the future.
