For more than twenty years, Silent Sanctuary has provided listeners with songs that capture the emotions of first love, heartbreak, longing, healing, and the nostalgia of growing up. This October, the well-loved OPM band is set to take the stage for their first major solo arena concert, Gabi ng Lambing, happening on October 25, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Tickets for Gabi ng Lambing were officially sold out on June 25, just five hours after their release via SM Tickets. This milestone is a testament to Silent Sanctuary's enduring popularity and the strong anticipation from fans who have long awaited this moment. The concert, themed “24 Years of Songs,” will feature the band’s most beloved tracks, lesser-known favorites, and shared memories. Special performances will include collaborations with The Manila Symphony Orchestra, Viva Voce, and several surprise guests.
Silent Sanctuary expressed their gratitude and excitement through a message on their official Facebook page, saying, “Gusto kong tumalon-tumalon sa saya. See you all on October 25! Gagalingan namin para sulit ang suporta at pagmamahal ninyo. Maraming salamat!”
Vocalist and guitarist Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay described the concert as a peak in the band’s career, stating, “Five years ago, we were already wishing and talking about this. It’s perfect timing because time has improved us, and this time, we aim to give fans a good experience.” The band’s current lineup features Sarkie on vocals and guitar, Anjo Inacay on cello, Allen Calixto on drums, Kim Mirandilla-Ng on violin, Ronnie Ropal on bass, and Poch Villalon on synthesizers and backing vocals.
While Silent Sanctuary has performed in large venues as guests, Gabi ng Lambing marks their first time headlining a full-scale arena show, performing around thirty of their songs with orchestral accompaniment and no cover tracks. For original members Sarkie, Anjo, and Allen, the concert is a long-awaited milestone, while for newer members Kim, Ronnie, and Poch, it represents a refreshed chapter for the band.
Cellist Anjo Inacay shared, “Parang nabigyan kami ng bagong direction with Kim on violin, Ronnie on bass, and Poch on keyboards. We feel like we can do more with our old and new music.” The concert will be under the direction of Paolo Valenciano, with Ria Osorio as Musical Director. New arrangements, orchestral elements, and a setlist spanning the band’s entire discography are to be expected, highlighting Silent Sanctuary’s signature blend of rock and classical influences—what they call “rockestra.”
Beyond the concert, Silent Sanctuary is entering a new phase through their partnership with Wrangler Philippines, which they describe as both meaningful and affirming. The band expressed appreciation for the support from their partners, including TTP Events, Numinous Philippines, Variant Productions, Tala Entertainment, and Universal Records Philippines.
Gabi ng Lambing is more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of the memories and milestones that Silent Sanctuary’s music has accompanied, from school days and karaoke nights to personal milestones and quiet moments. The rapid sell-out of tickets demonstrates the deep connection the band has with their listeners, both old and new.
Silent Sanctuary’s Gabi ng Lambing is scheduled for October 25, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, marking a significant chapter in the band’s ongoing journey in Philippine music.
