Concert-goers across Visayas and Mindanao were treated to a musical spectacle as Tanduay First Five concluded its multi-city tour, bringing together legendary OPM rock veterans and today’s chart-topping artists for a series of sold-out shows. The concert tour, which spanned key cities like Iloilo, Cebu, and Davao, celebrated Filipino music, culture, and community with a fresh blend of generations on one stage.
Tanduay First Five, known for its long-standing tradition of supporting OPM, took a new direction this year by pairing established bands with new-generation artists for live collaborations. “This year’s Tanduay First Five is different in many ways… We brought together new gen and old school bands and artists who collaborated live onstage. It attracted audiences of all ages, from millennials to Gen Z, and turned out to be one of the most memorable concert tours in the Visayas and Mindanao,” shared Edzel Ty, Digital Brand Manager of Tanduay.
The energy was palpable at every stop, with venues like Grand Capital Mall Open Grounds in Iloilo, SM Seaside City Cebu Concert Grounds, and Davao Crocodile Park & Zoo filled to capacity. Fans united in their love for OPM, singing along to hits performed by both icons and rising stars.
A highlight of the tour was the collaborative set in Davao, where hip-hop artists Skusta Clee and Flow G shared the stage with rock legends Kamikazee and Parokya ni Edgar. Other memorable performances included Zack Tabudlo and December Avenue, whose chart-topping songs resonated with crowds in Iloilo and Cebu.
“Tanduay First Five reflects Tanduay’s commitment to being part of moments that foster creativity, self-expression, and lasting memories. We support spaces where people could connect and celebrate shared experiences,” Ty said, emphasizing the brand’s role in nurturing OPM and Filipino artistry.
Organizing the tour was a logistical feat, but the Tanduay team delivered seamless shows and impressive turnouts at each location. The overwhelming fan response encouraged the organizers to consider another tour in the future, with many already clamoring for future concerts and suggesting new cities.
Ty hinted at the possibility of another Tanduay First Five tour next year, promising more updates soon. Fans can also look forward to the announcement of the new Tanduay Calendar Girl by the end of the year.
Beyond the music, Tanduay First Five is part of the brand’s way of giving back to its loyal customers and the OPM community. “Tanduay wouldn’t be where it is at today without the support of all our loyal customers,” Ty said. “We have been in the industry for more than one hundred years and continue to craft spirits that best represent our country and our heritage because of you.”
With its latest tour, Tanduay First Five has once again proven that music remains a powerful force in bringing together people, generations, and cultures—one unforgettable concert at a time.
