McDonald’s Philippines is set to bring together the country’s biggest community of fries lovers for its inaugural McDo Fry Fest on September 4, a simultaneous celebration across 64 stores nationwide dedicated to its World Famous Fries. The event will run from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., offering unlimited servings of fries, fun games, and exclusive limited-edition fries pouches for fans.
Fry Fest aims to celebrate not only the iconic McDonald’s fries but also the loyal fans who have made them a staple in Filipino fast food culture. “Fry Fest is the culmination of the celebration—a special moment that brings together our community of fries fans to share their passion, create memorable experiences together, and celebrate what has become a nationwide movement of fry lovers,” said Ada Almendras-Lazaro, McDonald’s Philippines’ Chief Marketing Officer.
To join the festivities, customers can register at participating stores by scanning the Fry Fest QR code via the McDonald’s app. A registration fee of P330 secures a slot at the event, with registration open until September 4 or until slots run out.
Participating locations span Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, ensuring that fries lovers from major cities and provinces can take part in the celebration. Slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
During Fry Fest, attendees can enjoy unlimited fries and interactive activities and take home an exclusive fries pouch designed just for the event. The celebration continues McDonald’s tradition of marking National Fries Day every July, extending the excitement for fans who look forward to “FryDay” each week.
McDonald’s World Famous Fries, deep fried and salted to perfection, continue to be one of the brand’s most beloved products, enjoyed on their own or paired with other menu favorites.
“Since National Fries Day last July, we've seen Filipinos continue celebrating their love for McDonald’s World Famous Fries every FryDay,” Almendras-Lazaro added, emphasizing the community aspect of the event.
For more details and a full list of participating stores, customers can visit the official McDonald’s Philippines website. The event is covered by DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FEB-265661, Series of 2026.
McDo Fry Fest is poised to become a new annual tradition for Filipino fries fans, celebrating the simple joy of sharing a favorite snack with friends, family, and fellow enthusiasts across the country.
