'The Killer Bride' begins airing in South Africa

Twist and revelations are coming to South Africa as the hit revenge drama 'The Killer Bride', starring Maja Salvador, starts airing through StarTimes media company.

Announced by RCD Narratives, the creative mind behind the phenomenal series, 'The Killer Bride' premiered on 20th of March via Novela E Plus Ch.128/057 and scheduled to air every Monday-Sunday at 9:40PM.

"The Killer Bride" aired on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida evening block from August 12, 2019 and have its finale on January 17, 2020. The series gained high ratings and also became a top trending topic on social media, recieving praises from viewers and netizens alike.

The show has been admired for its writing, its twists in particular being cited for overturning the horror genre. The show has likewise been praised for integrating a measure of social commentary on its scenes and its dialogue.

The series story revolves around a superstitious town, Las Espadas that has been haunted by the ghost of The Killer Bride for years. Almost all Las Espadas residents have stories of encountering the woman in the bloody wedding dress and veil. They say that the ghost is biding her time to exact revenge on the people who had hurt her in the past.>

Meanwhile, another ABS-CBN series is also airing in South African countries through StarTimes channels. Los Bastardos started airing last December 13, 2020 with a schedule of an episode a day between Mon and Sun at 19:50 CAT.
