ROOMIES and BOARDING HAUS were born out of pandemic-era bonding, created by Android-18 bandmates Direk Niokz Arcega and Ms. Gela Quevedo, when the cast and crew found joy in classic sitcoms like Friends, How I Met Your Mother, and The Big Bang Theory. “We wanted to bring back authentic barkada comedy—stories about real friendship, laughter, and lessons that today’s generation can relate to,” shares Direk Niokz. “Every riotous episode ends with a moral takeaway, just like the sitcoms we grew up loving.”
