New Moon, in partnership with Modess and Fruity by LoveYourself, hosted “LET’S TALK! PERIOD.: Breaking the Silence on PMOS & Women’s Health” in June 2026, gathering student leaders and advocates in Manila to foster open discussions and education on menstrual and hormonal health during PMOS Awareness Month.
As conversations on women’s health gain momentum, the initiative aimed to dismantle stigma and misinformation surrounding PMOS—recently renamed from PCOS—and empower the youth to share knowledge within their communities.
The event featured an educational seminar with a licensed OB-GYN, who discussed the updated definition of PMOS, its complex effects on reproductive and overall health, and when to seek professional care. The program also included firsthand accounts from women living with PMOS, highlighting the reality that hormonal health issues can touch every stage of life.
Among the speakers was Bea Millan-Windorski, a representative for New Moon, who candidly shared her personal experience with a recent PMOS diagnosis. “Learning more about my condition has made me realize how important it is to seek support and professional guidance early,” she said. Her story pointed out the value of accessible information and community-driven conversations.
Jasmine Dudley-Scales, another advocate, spoke about her ongoing journey managing PMOS with lifestyle changes and supplements like Hormo Balance. “Every woman’s experience is different, but sharing our stories helps others feel less alone and more empowered to take charge of their health,” she emphasized.
Participants received educational materials and product samples to help extend the impact of the seminar beyond the event. New Moon’s goal is for student leaders to act as health ambassadors, spreading accurate information on PMOS and menstrual health in their schools and organizations.
According to Dr. Sheryl R. Santiago-Alavado, who received a Certificate of Appreciation at the event, “Bringing these conversations into the open is the first step in breaking the silence and encouraging women to seek help without shame.”
The “LET’S TALK! PERIOD.” initiative is part of New Moon’s broader advocacy, including a docu-series featuring diverse women’s experiences with PMOS. These stories—from young professionals to mothers—highlight that PMOS is not just about periods or fertility but a multifaceted health issue requiring awareness, understanding, and support.
By creating safe spaces for dialogue, New Moon and its partners hope to normalize discussions on hormonal health—not just among women, but across families, workplaces, and schools. “It all starts with a conversation,” organizers said. “Let’s talk. Period.”
