"He was 49 years old, working in a BPO Company. It was his first day, as far as I know, after getting endorsed from training as they were endorsed to another account. Eager to get sales, he didn't took any of his breaks including his lunch to take a nap or rest."

"His duty was 11pm-8am. He usually take his breaks to eat and take a nap but this time, he didn't even took a time to stretch his back. My mother, hearing his loud shouting voice talking to a customer, knew that it was not normal."

"It was around 7am when she heard my father calling for help, saying that he never felt that kind of pain before and he can't feel his heart working anymore while saying "Ma wala akong benta, wala akong benta"."

"As my mother heard that, she said "bat uunahin mo pa isipin yan, kumalma ka muna at huminga" and immediately called an ambulance from both near baranggays, but no one answered. She woke me up asking if St. Paul Hospital is accepting cards, and I said yes. They ended up riding a tricycle."

"My father was in great pain while they are on their way to the hospital. They even got stuck on the road because of a huge truck blocking the way. It was just only a block away distance when my mother saw his body started to froze. As they arrived at the hospital, my papa already passed away.", Malungkot na paglalahad ni Pineda.

"Within an hour, we lost our papa. But for my mother, it was like the longest hour of her life. He died while keeping us alive. He refused to stop working eventhough my mother insisted that he don't have to work anymore."

"He died while he's on duty, eagerly trying to get some sales. In his 7 or 8 long years of working in that industry, that was the very first time he ever got so stressed on work. No, he never had a heart attack before and no, he don't have any heart complications."

"All we know is that he got so stressed out on getting sales, maybe because they were threatened to lose their jobs if they fail to have sales on that day.  He died while on duty and his company doesn't even have the guts to show the sympathy that he deserves."

"I am not blaming his company for his death, but I hope this would serve as a lesson to all management to have care and concern to your employees and agents. They are not just your agents, they are family members trying to make a life through your company. Don't act like you own them."

"Yan po ang computer table ni papa. We can't even look at it kasi naalala namin kung paano siya dumuty at diyan siya inatake."
